Rich blue lapis lazuli, carved into a delicate flower and set entirely in solid gold.

The Lapis Bloom Gold Ring features a beautifully carved floral lapis lazuli, with deep cobalt-blue petals radiating from a tiny central blossom. The intricate carving gives the gemstone a sculptural quality, allowing light and shadow to bring out every little detail.

Measuring just under ½ inch across, the round lapis is held in a handcrafted solid 14K yellow gold prong setting. The warm gold provides a striking contrast against the vivid blue gemstone while leaving the beautiful floral carving unobstructed.

The ring is finished with my signature Stardust band, crafted entirely from solid 14K yellow gold.

To create the Stardust finish, I begin with a soft satin surface and carefully burnish the edges to a bright polish. Then, using a tool I made myself—an upside-down diamond set into the end of a steel bolt—I hammer tiny diamond impressions into the gold. Each little impression catches the light, creating a subtle twinkle across the surface.

The result is a delicate, comfortable ring with an extraordinary amount of handmade detail.
