Orange & Yellow Gemstone Jewelry | A Little Sunshine
Some colors just make you feel good, and orange and yellow have always had that effect on me.
There's an optimism to them that I love. They're energetic, fresh, warm, and full of possibility. Yellow reminds me of sunshine, new growth, and those bright little flowers that seem to appear everywhere in spring. Orange has its own kind of energy—bold, cheerful, and impossible to ignore.
I love how these colors can feel like the beginning of something. A sunny morning, the first warm day after winter, or that wonderful golden light just before sunset.
And while they can be bright and playful, there's another side to them, too. Rich amber, burnt orange, honey, and golden yellow have a warmth and depth that can feel almost earthy.
Natural Gemstones in Shades of Orange & Yellow
This collection brings together my handmade orange and yellow gemstone jewelry, featuring natural stones in shades of lemon, golden yellow, honey, apricot, tangerine, amber, and deep burnt orange.
I'm drawn to the way these colors interact with light. Some gemstones seem to glow from within, while others have beautiful inclusions, unexpected patterns, or subtle variations that make them especially interesting.
Whether a stone is bright and lively or warm and understated, I love finding a design that brings out its individual character.
Handmade Jewelry Full of Color & Character
I'm Abby Meadows, the metalsmith behind Mettle by Abby, and I handcraft my jewelry in Woodstock, Georgia, using natural gemstones, solid 14k gold, Argentium sterling silver, and traditional metalsmithing techniques.
You'll find handmade gemstone rings, earrings, necklaces, and other individually crafted pieces in this collection. Many are one of a kind, and the selection changes as new jewelry comes out of my studio.
I especially love how orange and yellow gemstones look against precious metals. Gold can amplify their warmth, while silver creates a beautiful contrast that lets the colors stand out in a completely different way.
For me, these are colors worth celebrating. A little brightness, a little warmth, and something beautiful to carry with you.
