Blue & Green Gemstone Jewelry Inspired by Nature
There's something about blue and green that I never get tired of. Maybe it's because I grew up in South Florida, surrounded by water, or because I've always loved plants, gardens, and the natural world. These colors have a way of taking me somewhere.
A particular shade of blue might remind me of shallow coastal water, a deep stretch of ocean, or the sky just before a storm. Greens bring to mind everything from fresh spring leaves and moss to the darker, richer colors of a garden after rain. And then there are those wonderful colors somewhere in between—stones that look blue in one light and green in another, like water reflecting everything around it.
Natural Gemstones in Every Shade of Blue & Green
This collection brings together my handmade blue and green gemstone jewelry, from turquoise and aquamarine to tourmaline, sapphire, opal, and other naturally colorful stones.
I love the variation within these colors. Some stones are clear and luminous, others deep and moody. Some have unexpected patterns, inclusions, or shifts in color that make them especially interesting. Often, those individual characteristics are what inspire the design around the stone.
Handmade Jewelry with a Connection to Nature
Each piece is designed and handcrafted by me, Abby Meadows, in my Woodstock, Georgia studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques, solid 14k gold, and Argentium sterling silver.
You'll find blue and green gemstone rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets, including one-of-a-kind designs that celebrate the individuality of natural stones.
Because my jewelry is handmade and many designs are created only once, the selection changes as pieces sell and new work comes to life.
